I take on a small number of private pupils each year. Please have a look below for the various options.

Please note that whilst my studio is being relocated (aiming to be completed Summer 2023), all lessons and sessions will be undertaken at pupils' homes.

Composition / Music Production

I work with Sibelius (for score writing) and Logic Pro (for music production). I have worked as a full time composer since 2014 and am recently offering a limited number of private composition / music production lessons from my studio in the Cotswolds. In terms of my credentials, I studied composition at University (2003-2006) and have worked for the last 8 years writing and producing a wide variety of music for film, TV and theatre; from pop songs and electronic releases through to orchestral works and big band pieces.

Lessons are £40 per hour, with ideally a minimum session of 2 hours to ensure we have enough time to really get stuck in.

Saxophone / Clarinet

Having performed on clarinet and saxophone for nearly 30 years, I am well placed to teach at all levels from my studio. I have limited availability due to my composing commitments and so only take on 3 instrumental pupils at a time.

Lessons are £40 per hour or £25 for half an hour and taught from my studio in the Cotswolds (near Moreton in Marsh).
